The Sphere of the Earth explora la ciencia de la cartografía y la geometría de la esfera, comparando diferentes proyecciones cartográficas –geográfica o plate carrée, de Mercator, de Peters, acimutal, gnomónica y de Mollweide– que permiten entender la imposibilidad de dibujar un «mapa perfecto».
