Theoni Pappas –la autora de The Joy of Mathematics– acaba de lanzar su calendario matemático para 2014.
Mostrando nuevos temas y problemas para 2014, The Mathematics Calendar 2014 hace las matemáticas accesibles a través de juegos, puzles e historias. Cada mes ofrece un fascinante tema matemático que ilustra el impacto de las matemáticas sobre cada aspecto de la vida cotidiana —naturaleza, ciencia, música, arquitectura, arte, etc.–; y para cada día, se plantea un interesante problema matemático cuya solución es la fecha.
Los temas mes a mes son los siguientes:
